Celts Expansion for Age of Empires Online Gets Preview Video

Video game publisher and hardware manufacturer Microsoft has launched a preview video for the upcoming Celts for the Age of Empire Online titles, showing off the features of the new race that will become available to all interested players.

The Celts are described as being masters of both crafting and metalworking, which might mean that they will have an advantage over the other races when it comes to their upgrades and war machines.

New units are also mentioned, which should be familiar to those who have played the numbered games in the series, including Woad Raiders, Druids and iron clad Swordsmen.

The Celts expansion will also bring new gears for players to acquire and new rewards for impressive in-game feats.

Microsoft has not set a launch date for the Celt-powered expansion or a price for the new content.

Age of Empires Online aims to offer players roughly the same experience as the classic strategy series but with more of an emphasis on social features and on multiplayer games.
