Justin Jedlica, you’d better watch out! Because there is an actual market for people willing to spend a fortune and drastically alter their appearance so that they resemble more a plastic doll than a real, living person, the world’s most famous human Ken doll is in for some competition on the plastic looks department from Celso Santebanes.

Celso is only 20 years old (Jedlica is 34) and he’s from Brazil. He already has quite a following online and, The Mirror informs, his star is just about to start shining brighter because he’s about to do a reality show, and perhaps more importantly, he’s scheduled to come to the US, in Los Angeles, for work.

Expect his profile to blow up the moment he arrives there.

Celso is also a much more convincing human Ken than Jedlica, though he too invested a great deal of money in his looks: about $50,000 (€37,255) so far. He has no intention of stopping here – not now when he’s getting his own doll, so he’s being “rewarded” for his efforts until now.

Ken Doll, you’d better watch out too!

As the Yahoo! video report embedded below confirms, Celso has had several interventions on his nose, chin, and jaw (which were completely reshaped), silicone implants inserted in his chest to make him look more muscular, and several other “aesthetic interventions” he won’t name. Be free to guess what they might be though.

The Mirror says that he even “behaves like a puppet” because he is determined to make a convincing Ken no matter what. He believes he’s not there right now.

“I'm not a fake, I'm Ken,” he says, as cited by the British tab. “I'm obsessed with beauty. I always wanted to be recognized, appearing in the media. I think I'm 90 per cent of what I want to be. I intend to do more surgeries, but do not know what. For now my investment is being in the gym, for Ken is strong and I am skinny. As I work with my aesthetic, I must take care of my body.”

However, Celso isn’t all about the good looks, plastic or not. He insists he plans to continue his studies, while he focuses on becoming the real-life Ken. “I am an educated person. I like reading and majoring in one of the leading drama schools in Brazil. But I try to be more perfect inside than out,” he explains.

Another thing he’s focusing on right now is finding a special someone to share his life with. The Mirror says he would love to meet the Human Barbie Valeria Lukyanova but, should that not come to happen, he would settle for any other woman who would understand his obsession with beauty, or whatever he likes to call it.

As he writes on Facebook, “no one is happy alone.” So Ken is in the market for his Barbie. Any takers here?
