Cellphone Calls the Doctor When Your Liver Is in Trouble

There are a lot of weird accessories for mobile phones out there, but this just might be one of the weirdest, although it also doubles as a life savior when the phone's owner is in deep alcohol trouble.

This device has been developed by a team of scientists from Korea's Research Institute of Bioscience and Biotechnology and, as it has been reported so far, it will measure your Glutamin Oxaloacetic Transminase and the Glutamine Pyruvic Transaminase also known by our dear doctors as the GOT and GPT blood levels.

They have built a sensor that will track how much alcohol you will drink during the day and when the GOT and GPT levels put your life in danger it will automatically make a phone call to the hospital (or at least this is what they say).

The ones that will surely benefit directly from this type of technology will be the heavy alcoholics that can't separate themselves from the bottle even for half an hour.

If they get this cellphone accessory, they will finally get to drink as much as they want and will have no fear of liver blockage or other kinds of accidents related to drinking problems.

Oh, wait a minute! They will die if they get over the top and don't stop in time but, at least, their doctor will know if something happened to them and will send an ambulance to transport them to the hospital (or to the morgue for that matter).

So, I have a message to all the alcohol drinkers out there: if you plan to buy yourself such a device no one will guarantee you an infinite life of alcohol enjoyment!

The poor thing only knows how to call the doctor in case you get into serious trouble and your liver in danger of exploding so be wise and don't put your life in the hands of a medical sensor thingie because I assure you that you will not live to regret it! :)
