Hellofun brings frightening fun

The "Hellofun" celebration will bring all the costume party fun on mobile phones this Halloween. Users will be able to decorate their homepages, dress up their avatars in costumes and pass out tricks and treats.

More than 40 million people celebrate Halloween each year in the US and having a new solution to express themselves should make them happy. They will be able to collect treats and give out tricks in a modern way, by using their mobile phone.

The concept will have a highly intense social dimension, as users will be listed on a "these homes are happening" list, which should hint at the most giving users. On the other hand, there will also be some of them placed towards the bottom of the list, due to their stinginess. Users must purchase the treats that they give out using their Cellupoints, which should make the tradition more real.

"With Hellofun, we wanted to allow our mobile community to celebrate the holidays together and capture that sense of wonder you felt as a kid when you got that special candy", said Arthur Goikhman, Cellufun's CEO. "So we created a whole concept of visiting each other's mobile profiles, standing in line and trick-or-treating, creating suspense about what you're actually going to get. Costumes matter, too - a poorly matching costume might get a rock, or a trick, a well conceived one a chocolate", he further added.

As part of the event, Cellfun will also run two scavenger hunts related to the event. This should give a treat to every costume type and every decorative banner type will win a frighteningly good prize, in Halloween's spirit. Hellofun contest winners will be announced on the night of October 31st, at midnight, in a festive way. Prizes will be awarded to the most generous players, as well as to those who will manage to fill their bags with the largest number of treat and tricks.
