The feature phone comes with dual-SIM capability and FM Radio

Celkon has just announced the immediate availability of another of its cheap feature phones, the C76. The handset is now available in India for only Rs 1,899 ($31 / €23) outright.

According to The Mobile Indian, Celkon C76 comes with support for 8 Indian languages: Hindi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. Obviously, it supports English language as well.

Other highlights of the phone include: dual-SIM support, 2.8-inch standard display, 1.3-megapixel rear-facing camera, 1400 mAh Li-Ion battery, GPRS/WAP support, microSD card slot (up to 16GB) Bluetooth and wireless FM Radio.

“The launch of C76 is another milestone for the company. We at Celkon have always catered to the increasing needs of mobile phone users. Introducing a multi-lingual phone will reach out to the majority people spread across the regional boundaries.

“This will enable users to send Text messages in their respective Mother tongue and perform other linguistic activity,” said Y Guru, chairman and managing director, Celkon Mobiles.
