Mother of three and all-successful diva, like you’ve never seen her before

Nicole Kidman isn't the only one who is pushing the envelope with a new spread in V Magazine this month: Celine Dion is too. The diva is featured in the latest issue with a brief interview and a pictorial like her fans have never seen before.

The mother of three sheds all her inhibitions and shows off her playful and sensual side in a series of black and white portraits that would make a woman in her 20s green with jealousy.

Dressed in black leather tights, a collar, elbow-length leather gloves and small cat / bunny ears (?), Celine is covering her modesty with her hands, while smiling sweetly at the camera.

In other shots, she's showing off her pert derriere in black knickers and an oversized sweater, while in others, she's role-playing, looking stunning as well, albeit a bit more covered.

“I’m like this in my real life,” the 44-year-old star says.

“I was scared a little bit because this was so different for me, but I’m glad I did it,” Celine says of the spread.

“Usually there’s always a reason when I do a photo shoot, there’s not the opportunity to go crazy. With this it was two in the morning and I was still jumping on the trampoline. In the house, in my normal life, we are always playing. It doesn’t seem this way on stage, but I’m playing a lot,” she smiles.

In the same interview, Celine also muses on her long and successful career, her incredibly loyal fans and the downsides of fame, which she never got to experience on her own because she always had her family to keep her grounded.

“I've been an open book all my life, and I think that’s why people like me. I’ve been criticized for it, but I’m not forcing myself to be the person that you see,” Celine says of her fans.

She's never tried to be anything but real.

“For me to tell someone that my husband had cancer, that we were struggling to have kids, or whatever we’ve gone through, talking about my life lets people know the real me,” she explains.

Her fans are like family, so she takes pleasure in sharing every little thing with them.

“I’ve shared everything with them. They come for the whole package. I don’t think they just come for the songs,” she states.
