Canada’s 7 Jours magazine comes with a cover photo showing singer Celine Dion, heavily pregnant, her husband, her son and the family dog, as if to deny earlier reports of complications and hospitalization.

This is the first pic of the singer since announcing she was pregnant with twins in May this year and was undoubtedly, reports say, released to put to rest rumors of complications with the pregnancy.

“A healthy Celine Dion showed off her growing baby bump on the new cover of Canada’s 7 Jours magazine. She is expecting twin boys in November after a long struggle to get pregnant again,” the Huffington Post writes.

“Dion husband, Rene Angelil, their son, Rene-Charles, 9, and the family dog grin in the cover photo, released days after the singer denied rumors that she has had complications. She said she is ‘healthy and she feels fantastic’,” the e-zine further notes.

A few days ago, malicious rumors began to spread online that Celine Dion had been rushed to the hospital, having suffered unforeseen complications.

Her condition was said to be worrying, with some even speculating that she may be running the risk of not being able to carry the twins to term.

Her rep denied all such reports to People magazine, saying the stories were “completely fabricated.” Judging by the cover of 7 Jours, Celine has never been better.

Shortly after the pregnancy announcement, the diva talked about what it was like to finally see her and Rene’s wish come to life, as they’d been trying for years to get pregnant again.

She said she never lost hope and faith she would be a mother again, which is perhaps what helped her and her husband beat the odds. Also then, she talked about being pregnant at 42.

“The first two months I really felt the classical symptoms. The morning sickness, hot flashes, nausea. In a certain way, that reassured me, like a sign that my pregnancy was progressing. Now, everything is falling into place,” she explained.

“I have a little belly. I’ve gained [10 lbs.]. We believed in trying one more time. If [the doctor] had told me that my body was too tired, I would have given up,” the star added.
