Celebrity trainer Harley Pasternak, who has worked with countless celebrities throughout the years, has landed himself in some troubled waters with his latest blog post, which takes a good hard look at Disney stars and how some of them are in top shape, while others are heavier than they were when they started off in the industry.

Titled “Harley Pasternak Blogs About the Fit (And Not So Fit) Former Disney Stars,” the blog aims to tell people at home reading it how some Disney stars have managed to stay in shape even past the Disney stage.

It also mentions some celebrities who chose to “fill out” rather than stay fit, Lindsay Lohan and Christina Aguilera included.

What Pasternak doesn’t say is that some of these stars have battled eating disorders, while others are barely into womanhood, while others are mothers, all of which makes a huge difference as regards their body weight.

Neither does he say, when he’s criticizing Lindsay, that the fact that she looks almost twice her age has little to do with the amount of time she spends working out, and more with the amount of drugs and alcohol she’s ingested these past few years.

He doesn’t mention that those he criticizes were never his clients, which makes his entire piece sound spiteful, as if he’s taking it out at those who never hired him.

These are just some of the things that Pasternak’s readers noticed as they were reading the post, and which they held against him on online forums.

They were equally offended by how he was “appraising” a woman’s worth by the number of pounds on the scales.

In the end, Pasternak was forced to apologize.

“To those of you whom I offended in todays blog, I apologize. It was absolutely not my intention to do so. In no way, shape or form do I think that a woman's value is determined by her weight. I was not commenting on these women's worth,” he wrote on his Twitter.

“Above all, I am an advocate for health. Health through diet, lifestyle, physical activity, and overall wellness. I'm not an expert on self-worth or psychological well-being, i am an expert on nutrition and fitness and in this blog, that is what I discuss weekly. Skinny does not equal healthy, and fat does not equal unhealthy,” he added.
