The Swarovski Fashion Rocks party that took place last night at London's Albert Hall and held in aid of Prince Charles charity "The Prince's Trust" was graced by the presence of countless celebrities, from royalty to singers and actors. The evening aimed to bring together the worlds of music and fashion in spectacular style - and it more than accomplished its goal.
The soundtrack for the event was provided by acts including Dame Shirley Bassey, Alicia Keys, Lily Allen, Joss Stone and Timbaland, who set the scene for the catwalk segments from top designers including Burberry, Calvin Klein, Chanel, Gucci, Stella McCartney and Yves Saint Lauren. The Sugababes and soul singer Patti LaBelle gave a stunning surprise performance of "Lady Marmalade" for Swarovski's time on the runway. But the true surprise of the evening was an appearance put in by none other than Whitney Houston.

Whitney stunned stars at the Swarovski Fashion Rocks party with a surprise appearance last night, amazing the elite guests when she walked on stage wearing a stunning diamond-encrusted white Valentino gown. Houston - who introduced the final catwalk show of the night - flew in from New York especially for the event and even spent some time in hiding at a hotel in London, determined not to ruin the surprise. She arrived on the red carpet at around 11.15pm and thanked her fans for helping her get through her drug addiction and the aftermath of her nasty divorce from her husband, Bobby Brown. "I know it's been said before but I want to say it again - thank you for your support and, yes, I will always love you".
The charity fashion show was hosted by Uma Thurman with Samuel L. Jackson, and Uma simply couldn't keep herself from causing some stir on the red carpet when she arrived in a risqué see-through black dress that allowed a clear view of her breasts. Other celebrity presenters included Gwyneth Paltrow, Claudia Schiffer, Naomi Watts and Kate Moss completed the glamorous guest list - the latter sporting a spectacular £40,000 Topshop gown adorned with 60.000 beads, which is going to be auctioned on eBay in order to raise money for The Prince's Trust.
