Christina Hendricks, who rose to international fame thanks to her part on “Mad Men” and for being very open about her curvier figure (by Hollywood standards, at the very least), has just been named the Hottest Woman of the Year by the prestigious Esquire magazine. The mag features a steamy photospread with the star but also an interview which reminds once more, if need was for that in the first place, just what it is that makes her so special, as ONTD can confirm.

For starters, fans must already know that Christina is a very modest woman, especially when it comes to being the recipient of compliments and people’s admiration. She doesn’t see herself as more beautiful than many other women, and this is perhaps among the reasons people love her – because she’s relatable. Moreover, the star believes beauty is more about attitude than about being of a certain size, and she always makes sure she gets this message across.

She also speaks about men and how she sees their relationship with women. “We remember forever what you say about the bodies of other women. When you mention in passing that a certain woman is attractive – could be someone in the office, a woman on the street, a celebrity, any woman in the world, really – your comment goes into a steel box and it stays there forever. We will file the comment under ‘Women He Finds Attractive.’ It’s not about whether or not we approve of the comment,” the star says.

“It’s about learning what you think… and how we might be able to convey it. It’s about keeping our man by knowing what he likes. We also remember everything you say about our bodies, be it good or bad. Doesn’t matter if it’s a compliment. Could be just a comment. Those things you say are stored away in the steel box, and we remember these things verbatim. We remember what you were wearing and the street corner you were standing on when you said it,” Christina further explains.

She would also advise men all over the world to forget about their Facebook accounts because, in her opinion, “no man” should ever use the website. As per ONTD, Christina won the top title of Hottest Woman of the Year after readers of the magazine (that is, men) voted her in a percentage of 30 percent. Adriana Lima came next with 17 percent, while Megan Fox got only 14 percent of the votes, despite the fact that, a little over a year ago, she was the only woman to get all the magazine covers.
