Cel Damage HD, the remake of the cartoon car combat video game, will be released in Europe, Australia, New Zealand and the Middle East on May 14.

Developer Finish Line Games created a multiplayer-geared and much more silly kind of racing game, focusing on vehicular combat in the vein of Twisted Metal, offering players various game modes and 10 characters to choose from, as well as 30 weapons, each one wackier than the previous one.

Players will be able to enjoy Cel Damage in 4-player split-screen local multiplayer on both the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, with 13 tracks to choose from and deathmatch, capture the flag and regular, plain old racing, as far as game modes go.

The company has not mentioned anything regarding online multiplayer function or any multiplayer features for the Vita version, but they have revealed that fact that the game will be a cross-buy title between the PS3, PS4 and Vita platforms, players only needing to buy the game on one of them in order to enjoy it on all platforms.

Cel Damage HD is making its way to the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and the PlayStation Vita handheld gaming console from Sony on May 14.
