A-DATA Technology Co., Ltd., a leading provider of high-performance memory products all around the world, came at the annual CeBIT show in Hanover, Germany, with its highest-capacity solid state technology, in the body of a 512GB XPG 2.5” SSD. We took a few moments and stopped over at the company's booth at the expo so that we could admire this beauty.

According to A-DATA, the new 512GB XPG 2.5” SSD has been designed to fit both notebooks and desktop PCs, and is able to provide enthusiasts with a high-capacity solution that can also offer fast data transfer rates. And when we say fast we refer to the 230MB/s read and 160MB/s write speeds the company says the drive is capable of.

The new A-DATA SSD solution comes with the standard high-speed SATA II interface, while also sporting a lightweight though still tough case. The 512GB capacity is one of the highest the SSDs on the market can offer.

Through the launch of the new 512GB XPG 2.5” SSD, A-DATA reinforces its commitment to provide users with high performance, high capacity and the best quality PC users need. According to the company, its new solution is able to operate at temperatures ranging from -10°C to 70°C. In addition, it is also able to resist 1500G/0.5ms shocks.

The 512GB XPG 2.5” SSD's aluminum case offers durability, while its estimated lifespan is 1,500,000 hours. The product measures 100.0 x 70.1 x 9.2 mm and weighs 85g. For the time being, the company hasn't unveiled any specific information on the availability and price of the new solid state solution. However, given the capacity and the performance level the new A-DATA SSD is able to provide, it will certainly not come cheap.
