T-Mobile and Nokia today announced at CeBIT in Hanover, Germany, the future release of Nokia 6650, a stylish and easy to use clamshell phone optimized for T-Mobile's services. Available only via T-Mobile International, Nokia 6650 comes with the latest wireless features, including GPS and multimedia player, enabling T-Mobile customers to easily access a wide range of services like MyFaves, web'n'walk, NaviGate and Mobile Jukebox.

The new Nokia 6650 will be available starting the third quarter of 2008, at T-Mobile sales points across Europe for an attractive price. For example, it will retail in Germany for just 1 Euro together with T-Mobile's Relax 100 plan.

Nokia 6650 comes with a stylish, stainless-steel clad fold design and it offers state-of-the-art multimedia features, supporting T-Mobile services like web'n'walk, a service that provides users with easy access to the Internet via mobile devices. HSDPA data connectivity will assure fast web browsing and fast downloading speeds, while the phone's 2.2 inch TFT QVGA display with 16 million colors will make browsing and viewing photos or videos a pleasant experience. Built-in AGPS (assisted GPS) is also among the features of 6650, to allow quick positioning with NaviGate route management. Furthermore, My Faves from T-Mobile will keep you in touch with the loved ones while benefiting from Nokia 6650's extensive talk time.

Other features of the new clamshell include dedicated keys for the music player, FM radio, Bluetooth, 30 MB of internal memory and micro SD card suppport. Nokia 6650 also packs a 2 Megapixel camera with flash that will allow you to take average-quality pictures. Further specs, like the phone's dimensions for example, remain unknown at the moment.

What's a bit odd is that Nokia chose to give the phone the "6650" name - the same naming was used for one of its obsolete handsets from 2002. Anyway, Nokia knows better.

CeBIT officially starts tomorrow, March the 4th 2008, and Softpedia will be there to bring you live pics and exclusive details.
