As mentioned in one of our previous articles, we've managed to schedule an interview with one of Corsair's representatives at CeBIT. Thus, Mr. Gareth Ogden, Technical Marketing and Applications Specialist at Corsair has taken us on a tour of what Corsair has to offer, and boy, they did have a lot of goodies in store.

First of all, it's important to mention the fact that Corsair is providing three major families of products: high-end RAM memory modules, a full range of high-end PSUs and very tough, rugged portable storage solutions. And as you'll be able to see as follows, every such "family" is quite well represented here at CeBIT.

One of the main points around which our discussion with Corsair's rep has revolved was that of RAM memory. Thus, Corsair is showcasing quite an impressive number of systems fitted with the latest and fastest DDR3 and DDR2 modules (the DDR3 Dominator modules, equipped with an external ventilating system being quite a marvelous sight, as you can plainly see from the enclosed photos).

Corsair's rep also pointed out a few very interesting details. First of all, all of the modules employ Dual-path Heat Exchange technology (DHX), a patented (often imitated, but never duplicated) technology which allows users to carry out various overclocking activities without having to worry about the issue of temperature.

Quite obviously, such monster setups require PSU's to match, so Corsair also offers a very comprehensive line-up of such components as well, the most impressive being the HX 1000W version, available in very small numbers and at a very high price tag (obviously, just for the enthusiasts). Mr. Ogden also provided us with some insight on how Corsair builds its PSU's, namely by taking an OEM model and thoroughly eliminating anything that's flawed with it, with the result representing a whole new model.

Last but not least, the company has also brought to CeBIT all of its portable storage solutions, some of them being shown in some pretty extreme conditions, as you can see in the enclosed photos.
