Casey Anthony’s parents rid themselves of slain toddler’s possessions

Casey Anthony, considered by many Americans one of the most hated women in the country, is now in the midst of declaring bankruptcy, claiming the trial in which she stood accused of the murder of her infant daughter Caylee ruined her.

With this in mind, it should probably come as no surprise that her parents recently sold off at a yard sale most of Caylee’s clothes and toys.

Radar Online has photos and videos of the yard sale, and an eyewitness account from a woman who just happened to pass by – and stopped to see what was on sale.

Only minutes later did she recognize Cindy and George Anthony, which only intrigued her even more about the sale.

“When I pulled up, they were taking tarps off the yard sale items that were covered due to the rain. I immediately noticed the two white canopies over the yard sale tables because they looked like the tents used in the search for Caylee,” Florida resident Christina Werner says for the celebrity publication.

She says Cindy and George were particularly friendly with her, presumably because they thought she had not recognized them.

Towards each other, though, they weren’t as friendly, arguing constantly about stuff regardless of who else was there with them.

“I ended up finding items of Caylee’s that seemed to be mixed up with other things. I also found pants and purses of Casey’s,” Werner explains.

She bought several items of Casey’s and clothes and toys that once belonged to her daughter Caylee. Nevertheless, she swears she can’t understand how Cindy and George would sell off the latter’s belongings.

“I simply will never understand how these grandparents can put a price tag on Caylee’s items. I can understand Casey’s things, but I will never understand how they could part with these things at a yard sale!” she says.

“You would think if they were trying to just move on and get over things they would donate the items, not throw them on a table with a neon two dollar yard sale sticker,” Werner adds.
