It’s the kiss that Twi-hards have been waiting to see for years: the other night, after the premiere of “Water for Elephants,” it almost happened. As they were leaving the premiere party, cameras caught Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart almost sharing a kiss.
The two “Twilight” stars still refuse to speak about their relationship when the cameras are not rolling and, when they do share something about it, they’re mostly vague enough about it to keep people guessing.
In fact, the only confirmation that the two are an item are tabloid reports and a set of grainy photos taken last summer, in which it appears as the two are kissing outside an apartment building.

For the premiere of his latest movie, in which he plays the love interest of Reese Witherspoon, Robert did the red carpet with his co-star.
The two took questions from the media and fans, and posed for pictures. Co-star Christoph Waltz was also there on promotional duties.
Since no one saw Kristen, it was assumed that she wouldn’t be at the premiere – but photographers with an extra dose of patience got the best reward possible when they saw her leaving the premiere party with Robert.
She was carrying her high heels in her hand, and it was clear (as the video below will confirm) that neither she nor Robert wanted to have their picture taken as they rushed to a waiting car.
After they got in it, Robert, perhaps forgetting that there were so many cameras on them, leaned in for a kiss as they shared a giggle and a word spoken in confidence.
Kristen appeared to do the same but then, perhaps realizing that the kiss would be documented on camera, she pulled away.
