Canadian cattle auctioneer Rhett Parks could change the current definition of rap

Let me ask you this: who do you think is the best rapper in the world? You probably can’t decide between Eminem and 50 Cent, and I guess several other popular names are going through your mind right now, but that’s because you haven’t yet listened to this guy who’s not actually a professional rapper, but who’s definitely got skills.

Music is a very diverse entertainment product, and this Canadian cattle auctioneer named Rhett Parks seems to be giving a new definition to hip hop music with his unique beats. Or maybe he’s laying down the base for a new genre – the cattle rap.

Rhett is manager and auctioneer at Whitewood Livestock, Alberta, but although he is currently making a living selling cows, his amazing ability to talk quickly would allow him to switch careers at any time. He could actually change rap’s cultural landscape and climb the hip hop music charts as fast as Jay -Z.

With some clicks and pops on a keyboard, Rhett’s auction chant has been transformed into an actual tune. Now, who cares about coherent lyrics when his rhythmic repetition of numbers and filler words fit so well on the beats?

If we don’t see him on music channels soon, I hope his skills will at least help him push up the price of the cattle on sale.
