14 DAY TRIAL // A few days ago, Leshcat released its modded version of the Catalyst 13.4 WHQL driver. Now, it’s time to present to you his version of the 13.5 Beta 2.
To begin with, the driver versions are slightly different. This beta release features ATi graphic driver version 12.102.3.0000, Intel HD Graphics legacy 8.15.10.2559 and modern 9.17.10.3062, as well as the latest optional ATi HDMI audio driver 7.12.0.7714 (for Windows 7) and 8.0.0.8811 (for Windows 8).
Its “minor changelog” speaks of a “hopefully resolved” issue with Intel Quick Sync and adds thanks to some users who reported that problem.
According to those who have already installed this version, 13.5 beta 2 works well although some have experiences a BSOD/black screen issue.
They figured out that there was one of the Windows updates (KB2670838) that caused the trouble. After they uninstalled it, all worked fine.
