14 DAY TRIAL // A popular photo on Imgur has managed to help raise money for charity. Since the pic is that of a cat, it was only natural that its owner donated earnings to animal shelters.
A photo of Refurb went viral on Reddit just a while ago, and it was not posted by the cat's owner. When he found out, he wrote about it on a blog and he was offered money in exchange for the famous feline's autograph.
He was surprised that anyone would pay money for that, but he did ask that the user donate $10 (€7.51)to his local animal shelter. Once proof of the payment was online, he would be mailed a postcard with Refurb's paw print.
It quickly caught on and, so far, 35 people signed up and offered more money for animal shelters. Some of those were from the United States, while others came from four different continents.
