14 DAY TRIAL // The development team at Konami working on Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 is offering the first details about the gameplay of the coming game, including a reveal of the new Blood Whip that the protagonist will be able to use.
Gematsu cites information coming from the Official PlayStation Magazine saying that the whip is a ranged weapon that delivers both light and strong attacks that can be used to control enemies in a wide area.
The game no longer features magic and all special powers are based on Dracula Blood, which can only be obtained by killing enemies and by performing better combo moves.
Blood can also be used to call upon Void, a powerful sword that recharges health, and Chaos, that can break enemy shields.
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 will be launched later during 2013 on the PlayStation 3 from Sony and the Xbox 360 from Microsoft.
