Castlevania: Curse of Darkness Hints (PS2)

Castlevania: Curse of Darkness is a video game developed and published by Konami Interactive. It was developed for the PlayStation 2 console from Sony and for the Xbox from Microsoft and was published in 2005. The game is classed as an action and role playing title with a medieval and fantasy theme played from a third person perspective.

The game will allow the player to take on the role of Hector, who is a former servant of Dracula, who is still a threat. He is also a Devil Forgemaster but he wants no longer to be associated with evil and to live a normal life. The problem is that another servant of Dracula has cast a curse on Europe and that Hector is the only one who can breake it. The fact that he is a Forgemaster allows him to create familiars that can fight on his side. The familiars are able to morph into many different forms depending on the level of the player and the weapons he chooses to wield.

There are some interesting role playing elements in the game, mainly revolving around character attributes and experience. There's also a wide array of weapons that you can use, such as axes, swords, spears, knuckles and shields. The game will also offer you the chance to pick up bronze, steel and aluminum or having an extra amount of materials to create new weapons or improve existing ones.

The current combo system in the game will allow the player to easily beat up enemies and will make fights interesting.

GAMEPLAY HINTS

Defeating Isaac

Before you start the first battle with Isaac, make sure the second Innocent Devil you have is leveled up to Water Golem and put in defense. Then, equip the Rapier and continie. The Black Demon will mostly attack your demon and it will not get through its defense because it is in Water Golem form. When Isaac twirls his spear and slams it down, jump to avoid the shockwave. After his combo attack, attack him with the Rapier and you should get in a lot of hits. When Isaac yells ''Kill him'', the demon will sink into the ground and follow you. When Isaac laughs that indicates that the demon will attack where it is. Do not attack Isaac while he has the demon attacking you. Wait for it to attack your demon then attack Isaac. Isaac will also use a tornado. Run away when he uses it. Repeat this and you should defeat him.

Make sure Isaac's Devil is near and the attack will completely wipe it out.

Infinite attack

Play as Trevor and go to a Boss (for example, Dopleganger. Attack the Dopleganger with a full combo then imminently quick step around him and use the combo again. You can only use this a few times; be careful. This attack also works with St. Germain. You can also use it on Isaac but it is difficult. Note: this does not work with Bosses like Crazy Armor and Duluhan because they do not get stop their attack when you attack them, and can hit you.
