Video game publisher SEGA is delivering a new video for its upcoming Castle of Illusion Mickey Mouse title, with the team that created the original game in 1990 talking about the remake that’s set to launch later this year.

The story of the game remains unchanged and will see Mickey Mouse working hard in order to save his beloved Minnie from Mizrabel, an evil witch.

The original game was launched on the SEGA Genesis.

The remake is using an entirely new game engine and has impressive visuals and modern gameplay mechanics.

If the remake is successful, SEGA might launch more modern takes on classic games in the Illusion series.

Mickey Mouse Castle of Illusion will be launched on the PC, the PlayStation Network from Sony and the Xbox Live Arcade service from Microsoft.
