Castle Raid 2 is one of the most addictive games in the store, especially when played on a tablet, so news that the full version is available free of charge should be really exciting for many people out there.

The game comes with a pretty rich feature package, which includes a single device multiplayer, 20 different battlegrounds with obstacles such as defender barricades, guard zones, and turrets, units, and several difficult multiples, including casual, normal, and heroic.

Global leaderboards are also available to compete with friends and get a better score, and so are 40 different achievements to challenge people from all over the world.

“In this unique tug-of-war you once again fight to defend your castle against the enemy’s hoard. Get ready to enter the magical world of noble knights and sage wizards, dragons and assassins, and set out on a new epic adventure. Fight your way through the snow covered lands of the Frozen Plains and the beautiful open fields of the Greenland,” the game description reads.

The freeware license is offered as part of Microsoft’s Red Stripe Deals campaign, so it’s only available for two more days.

The game obviously works on both desktops and tablets and also offers support for Windows RT, which means that those with a Surface RT can give it a shot as well.

Overall, this freeware version of the game clearly comes in handy, so go ahead and download Castle Raid 2 for Windows 8.1 at no cost while you still can.
