14 DAY TRIAL // If there’s one thing a man should always remember is that the answer to “does this makes me look fat?” is always “no” because some women (not all of them, but many) aren’t really asking because they want the truth, but because they’re looking for some sort of reassurance that they still look good. Casper Smart didn’t get the memo on that.
It its latest print issue (story via CB), the National Enquirer claims to have it on very good authority that this was what started a very nasty argument between the backup dancer and his much older boss and current girlfriend Jennifer Lopez.
The two have been dating for almost two years and have been living together for some time. You would imagine that, by now, Casper knows how to word his critiques better than to just blurt out that he thinks Jennifer’s thighs are “too big” for the mini dresses she’s been wearing on her appearances on American Idol, where she acts as judge.
But he doesn’t, says the tab. The moment he told JLo that, she went into a fit of rage. Think about it: you would probably react the same if you’d spend the amount of time Jennifer spends at the gym working out, to be told that you’re still fat (not to mention the strict diet Lopez must be on to always look her best).
Casper realized he’d put his foot it in and tried to backpedal but this only infuriated the singer more.
“If you’re not saying my thighs are fat – then what are you saying?” she shot back, to which a literally frightened Smart could only reply, “I just meant your thighs are… muscular!”
“I thought you liked my thighs! But if you don’t like what you see…!” Jennifer shot back before storming out the door. The next night on American Idol, the tab says, she wore an even tinier mini than ever before, as if to teach Casper a lesson.
We’re not going to discuss the chances that the above report is true and that the two actually got into such an argument over a silly observation, especially since we like to imagine any woman would want her man to tell her if something doesn’t fit right and not go out of the house looking like a fool.
However, we will note that, since Jennifer went public with Casper, reports of this type have been making it out in print with regularity, with most of them painting Lopez as the boss in their relationship, with Casper not even daring to look twice at another woman out of fear she might become cross with him – and cut his allowance.
