14 DAY TRIAL // Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart have defied all those saying they would never last because of the age gap and social status difference. They also weathered media scandals and countless rumors but, according to a new report, their time together might be over.
The singer has grown tired of her dancer boytoy, Star magazine writes in its latest print issue (story via CB).
She hasn’t broken up with him yet but she’s definitely thinking about it – and Casper knows it too because he’s in the market for a new house, for when the hammer drops.
“According to Jennifer Lopez, ‘Love Don’t Cost a Thing’ – but if you’re Casper Smart, it could cost you your personal space. Sources close to her backup dancer, 25, say he has been quietly looking for a place of his own after worrying that JLo, 43, may be growing tired of him,” the celebrity publication writes.
It doesn’t say what it was that got Casper thinking that he’s one foot out the door. Jennifer’s previous track record with men could have been a clue for him that, with her, romance tends to be short-lived.
“He is with Jen and her kids so much. He wants to have a place he can go to in case this comes to a screeching halt,” an insider says for Star.
Since word first emerged online that Jennifer was dating her backup dancer (now promoted to lead tour choreographer), long before they came out in public as a couple, the two have been plagued by countless rumors.
From reports that Casper was secretly gay and / or only with Jennifer for money and publicity, to rumors that they were expecting or engaged or fighting like cats and dogs, they have seen and heard it all as a couple.
In other words, chances are that all this talk of an imminent breakup is nothing but speculation once more.
