Ifone announced the new "Casper the Friendly Ghost" mobile game for Halloween. The game will be available through most operators across Europe and the US, on all major gaming handsets.

The mobile version of "Casper's Midnight Mansion" is based on the original "Casper The Friendly Ghost" character and his quest to rescue his friend Wendy from the evil Witch Weevil. Set in a creepy mansion and viewed from overhead, players must control Casper and Wendy safely through fifteen spooky levels. All the time, Casper's infamous uncles, The Ghostly Trio, are hot on Casper's tail in an attempt to feed him mean pills, so that he stops being so friendly.

Casper made his original debut in 1945, and over the years this beloved children's icon has been featured in thousands of comic books, over 100 animated TV episodes, three video movies, a console game and a Steven Spielberg blockbuster movie.

Casper makes his debut on the mobile phone as part of iFone's Classic Media deal. This deal gives iFone the rights to bring nostalgic TV brands to mobile, including family classics such as The Lone Ranger, Rocky and Bullwinkle and Mr Magoo.
