You haven't seen for quite some time now, here, at the "Daily gadget" column, a cool watch, because, frankly speaking, I haven't come across a very interesting one lately. However, this has changed as of now, because the famous brand Casio has announced a little wonder called Casio GPR-100, a digital watch that doubles as a GPS device.

Casio's new gadget is obviously developed for people who really like to exercise, as it comes packed with some pretty cool features, as for example digital stopwatch, speedometer and GPS radio, thus allowing the users to measure their performances quite accurately. Moreover, it is also a pretty powerful watch, since it is able to tell the time for around 141 cities worldwide, as well as indicate the GMT for 38 time zones.

All of the above are possible due to Casio's EWLP technology (Embedded Wafer Level Package), which allows new levels of miniaturization and the insertion of more functions into one tiny package. And speaking of functions and package, let's take a look at the most interesting features this device has to offer:

- Dimensions: 63.1mm x 49.5mm x 17.1mm; - Weight: aprox. 64 grams; - Battery: internal, Li-Ion; - Charge time: around 3 hours; - Battery life: - normal mode: 2 hours; - Low power mode: 4.3 hours; - 49?72 full dot LCD; - Built-in GPS radio; - Watch function: digital display, full automatic calendar; - Memory function; - Built-in timer; - Alarm function.

If you're becoming interested in this device, you should know that it's going to be launched on September 30'th, and will set you back around $460, which is not that much, considering what the device really has to offer.

We are just a few, but there are many of you, Softpedia users, out there.
