Even though few networks would touch her, Casey Anthony seems to believe she could still command a hefty paycheck for an exclusive interview if she wanted to. In fact, new reports suggest her asking price is of $750,000 (€575,329).

Anthony is a persona non grata now after being charged with the murder of her 2-year-old daughter Caylee in what was one of the most mediated trials in modern times.

She was acquitted this year and, since then, reports have been saying she's working on landing a lucrative deal for her first post-jail interview.

So far, nothing has come out of said rumors – but not for lack of trying on Anthony's behalf, The Hollywood Reporter says.

Anthony is now working with a producer out of Los Angeles, and he's shopping her interview to various networks, trying to negotiate the license fee.

“The Hollywood Reporter has learned that Scott Sternberg and his Scott Sternberg Productions have been quietly pitching a no-holds-bared interview with Anthony, who has been lying low since being released July 17 after nearly three years in a Florida jail,” the movie-oriented publication says.

“Multiple sources say Sternberg is asking between $500,000 and $750,000 to deliver Anthony, a hefty license fee to be sure,” THR adds.

“According to sources with knowledge of the proposal, networks can choose the interviewer and Scott Sternberg Productions would co-produce the program,” says the same report.

Considering that earlier reports claimed that Anthony wanted somewhere around $1 million (€767,106), it would be safe to assume interest in her is going down.

In fact, THR confirms this: of the various networks it reached out to, none manifested any interest in getting the Anthony exclusive.

Their reaction is completely understandable especially since, a few months ago, three of the biggest networks got locked in a fierce bidding war for the same exclusive, only to back out of it completely when the public found out and threatened to boycott whichever would land it.

“Spokespeople for Discovery Communications' TLC and ID confirmed that the networks have passed on the project. A&E Networks, which includes Lifetime and A&E, also has passed, says a spokesperson,” THR says.

ABC, CBS and NBC, the three networks mentioned above, have already made it clear that they would never pay Anthony a dime.
