Casey Anthony will come out of hiding today to answer questions in regards to her bankruptcy filing from January this year, the Chicago Tribune has learned.

This is officially the first time that Anthony will be seen in public (various sightings don’t count) since she was acquitted of the murder of her 2-year-old daughter in what was one of the most watched and controversial cases of recent years.

“Casey Anthony will be in Tampa this afternoon to answer questions in her recently filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy, the first time she's been forced to come out of hiding since her acquittal in the death of her daughter,” the Chicago Tribune writes.

As we also reported at the time she filed for bankruptcy, Anthony is saying she’s completely broke, mostly because she’s been living in hiding since she came out of prison.

She has no possibility of getting a job in the near future either.

“Anthony is required to attend a creditors meeting at the Sam M. Gibbons United States Courthouse. There, she'll be questioned by a bankruptcy trustee, and possibly also her creditors, about her financial status,” says the aforementioned media outlet.

“Anthony, who says she's been unemployed since her murder trial, could be asked about who's been supporting her financially. She could also be asked about whether she has plans to sell her story, experts say,” adds the same publication.

Just recently, Anthony gave her first television interview since she was sprung from prison, but she refused to talk about the case and how she’s been coping with life on the outside.

She did say though that filing for bankruptcy would be the lid on a painful chapter in her life, an action that would help her move on with her life.

At the same time, her attorney is saying that she’s considering getting a job as a paralegal to be able to support herself from now on.
