Will Ferrell fans should be happy to know he’s coming out with a new comedy in early 2012 and, this time, he’s spicing things up a bit by moving to Mexico. The first teaser trailer for “Casa de Mi Padre” is now out.

The flick tells the story of Mexican rancher Armando Alvarez (Ferrell), forced to come to terms with the idea that his father’s ranch might go into foreclosure because of money issues.

His brother, Raul (Diego Luna) comes in to save the day, but he’s also bringing a wife (Genisis Rodriguez) – and Armando falls for her, complicating things even more.

In almost no time, the family is going to war against Mexican drug lord Onza (Gael Garcia Bernal), as it turns Raul’s money didn’t come from the most legit of sources.

Since the entire cast, except Ferrell, is Spanish-speaking, it’s safe to say the entire film will most likely play like one of those famous culebrones on TV.

“Casa de Mi Padre” is out on March 16, 2012. Check out the trailer above to see if it’s something you’d want to check out in a theater near you.
