Cars Mater Transnational Championship is a video game developed by Rainbow Studio and published by THQ Inc. The game was developed for the PlayStation 2 console from Sony, the PlayStation 3, the Xbox 360, the Nintendo Wii and the PC. It was released in 2007. The game is classified as a racing title, developed using a movie franchise, and played from a third person and first person perspective.

Cars Mater Transnational Championship features 13 characters you can play as and three areas. There are multiple game modes. Story mode puts you in the role of Lightning McQueen in the world of Radiator Springs, situated in Ornament Valley and Tailfin Pass. The game is pretty much open world in this game mode and you can look around, talk with other cars that inhabit the place or you could just enter races which offer you points and Bolt Banners that are needed to unlock more areas of the game

A cutscene of Lightning and the cars that will compete against is offered every time you enter a race. Each of the mini games that you beat will be available in Arcade mode.

In Arcade mode, you can choose Race or Minigame. If you choose race, you can take any character and track that you have previously unlocked and race against opponents. If you choose the Minigame option, you can play any of the mini games that you have won.

Versus mode is just a straight up multiplayer mode.
