Just as rumored a few days ago, mobile phone carrier Verizon Wireless is getting ready to make carrier billing a reality for all of its customers accessing the Google Play Store.

Today, Google officially confirmed on Twitter that the feature is set to roll out to Verizon customers in the coming weeks.

“Hey Verizon Customers! Pay for Google Play apps, music and more on your phone bill. We're rolling this out over the coming weeks. Enjoy,” the company said.

With this feature in place, users will be able to purchase content from the app portal and have it charged on their monthly bills at the wireless carrier.

Unfortunately, specific info on the matter hasn’t been provided as of yet, but expect for more details to emerge in the near future.
