Carrie Fisher, best known for her Princess Leia role in the “Star Wars” franchise, may have relapsed back into drug use, according to various reports online. She was recently photographed out in LA running errands and “acting erratically,” the Daily Mail reports.

The actress has long come clean about her problems, some of which are emotional and some refer to her severe addiction to drugs. She started dabbling in cocaine when she was just 19 because she wanted something stronger than pot and, for years in a row, she did drugs “religiously.”

She has also been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, for which she’s on medication constantly.

However, it’s her history with drug addiction that would best explain her odd behavior in recent days, the British tab writes. She was seen driving around with both a woman and man, both unidentified, apparently buying drugs from them.

“An onlooker described how Carrie seemed to be behaving erratically in the car, either violently bobbing her head up and down, clenching her fists or frantically wiping her nose in the rear view mirror,” the tab writes.

Fisher was also photographed going into an apartment building, where an illegal business transaction probably took place.

“Most times Carrie leaves her home at lunchtime on her own and drives herself to the same apartment, constantly on the phone on the way there. She parks up underneath the apartment and waits. Then one of two different women, depending on the day, rushes down the stairs, gets into the car for no more than 30 seconds, then jumps out and heads back to the apartment,” an insider tells the tab.

“Carrie then heads straight home. On the way, though – either at stop signs or red lights – her head dips down and then the next moment she is frantically wiping her nose in the rear view mirror. I witnessed this twice,” the source continues.

The Mail has seen one of the videos available online and confirms that, indeed, whenever she stopped at the lights, the actress’ head dropped to her chest, as if she’d fallen asleep or was under the influence of narcotics.

One of the paparazzi who snapped the photos at the Mail asked Fisher if she’d been buying drugs or conducting any illegal transaction of any kind. She responded with “no, darling” to both questions and said she was “fine,” not back on drugs.

Still, fans are worried about her well-being.
