Nokia mobile phone users can tap into the features of a wide range of software solutions via the Ovi Store, among which we can count the Carpe Diem Daily by Nokia application, launched in collaboration with The School of Life, a social enterprise offering good ideas for everyday living. The application was designed to offer users the possibility to easily discover new facts about the world in a playful way.

The Carpe Diem Daily app is meant to offer users the possibility to do new things every day through setting a series of fun-to-follow tasks. These ‘Daily Do’s’ are supported by a global web and mobile community, and are inspired by interesting facts and ideas. Users can submit text, videos or pictures from their Nokia mobile phone to the website www.carpediemdaily.com, and are encouraged to share their ideas with the community. Through following all the Daily Do’s, users can experience a great deal of new things.

“The School of Life is interested in building a community around ideas which can help us live more fulfilling lives. We’ve created a series of ‘Daily Do’s’ which includes contributions from many of our faculty and friends. We hope that these tasks will inspire fresh thinking and offer new perspectives on everyday living. Carpe Diem Daily is an opportunity for us to reach out to people around the world and encourage them to share their ideas and experiences with one another in a meaningful and creative way,” Morgwn Rimel, Director of The School of Life, stated.

Carpe Diem Daily has been developed with support for a wide range of Symbian devices, including the Nokia N97 mini, Nokia X6, Nokia 5800 XpressMusic and more. Those interested in giving it a try will find it available for download for free from the Ovi Store. The application is set to enable users to break from the norm and look out for new ways to make their lives colorful.
