A maintenance crew have managed to moor the Carnival Triumph cruise ship, which has broken loose on Tuesday, April 2, causing an employee in the Mobile shipyard to fall overboard.

Tugboats were used to move the large vessel to the Mobile Cruise Terminal, ABC News writes. The vessel has incurred damage to its stern, as visible in the photo posted above, and will undergo reparation works.

"Lines have moored the ship, and, as a precaution, tugboats will remain alongside the vessel as well," Carnival Cruises spokesman Vance Gulliksen clarifies.

The employee that has fallen in the water some two days ago is still missing and he is not wearing a life jacket, a Coast Guard rep clarified. No other injuries have been reported and all other workers are accounted for.

I will keep you updated as more details on the rescue mission come to light.
