Actress Carmen Electra and her husband, rocker David Navaro are struggling to have children.

Electra and David, married in November 2003, decided it's time to have a baby, but because of their careers and being on road all the time, they find it difficult to conceive one.

Navarro has been in Los Angeles working on his talent search show Rock Star: INXS, while Electra has been in Canada shooting Cheaper By The Dozen 2.

Electra said: "I can't wait to be a mom. I love little kids. We've just been waiting for the right opportunity.

"It's hard because he's doing his show, and I've been in Toronto. Every time I think: 'This is going to be the right time,' and I plan it out, we end up working.

"But everyone always tells me not to over think it. You're supposed to just let it happen."
