A new developer video has emerged from Stainless Games, developer of Carmageddon: Reincarnation, a demo of the game's suspension technology in action.
Carmageddon: Reincarnation plans to reintroduce the concept of winning a race without being concerned with driving. The automotive killing machines only see opponents and pedestrians for what they truly are, potential points to score.
Carmageddon brings a unique mix of racing and combat, and will feature both a single-player campaign as well as multiplayer support. While the game was initially Kickstarted in mid-2012 with a grand total of $625k / €458K, the project gained a whole new scope when Bullfrog founder Les Edgar invested an additional $3.5 / €2.6 million, in order to secure next-gen console versions.
The game is currently scheduled for a Q1 2014 launch on Steam Early Access, and will be coming out for the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One systems.
