The Linux community is getting more and more games, and now it seems that the resurrection of a gaming icon, Carmaggedon, is coming to our beleaguered platform.
Carmageddon: Reincarnation is a game developed by Stainless Games, the original producer of the Carmageddon game. Now, they are asking for support,
through the Kickstarter initiative, and are promising that when the game is complete, it will also come to the Linux platform.
The studio needs $600.000 (€480.576) in order to start the development of the game and are turning to the community for help. Today is the final day of their Kickstarter project and they have almost reached their goal, minus a few dollars.
If they gather all the necessary funds, and I reckon they'll probably do so, the new and improved, Carmageddon: Reincarnation game, will be launched by the end of 2012.
