If you liked the Carmageddon series, then you will surely enjoy this new addition from Stainless Software, a 3D smash-'em up game called Novadrome.

In Novadrome, players will be able to smash and crash their cars in the most detailed 3D environments. They have to prevent evil robots from planet Nova from invading the Earth. These robots have abducted them and taken them to their planet. Novadrome also features a multiplayer mode in which up to eight players can face each other.

By the looks of it, Novadrome will be available for download beginning with Wednesday on the Xbox Live Arcade. It will set you back 800 Microsoft points, and apparently, it will be available in all regions. Novadrome will feature several game modes, including Career, Arcade Challenge, Free Play and as mentioned before, a multiplayer mode.

Probably many of you will say that this game resembles Twisted Metal, because of their similar arena style deathmatch. Considering the large success registered by Twisted Metal worldwide, Stainless Software would like for Novadrome to have a tenth of Twisted Metal's success.

If you are planning to use this game for some multiplayer fun, know that you have to have an Xbox Live Gold Membership.
