The video above is of her most recent performance, a cover of Celine Dion’s “My Heart Will Go On,” which earned her glowing reviews, including on how she could totally be the winner for this second season.
“It pains me to say this – I don’t want to say this – but we could be looking at the winner,” L.A. Reid said at the end of her performance.
“You’re so good. It doesn’t make sense. I don’t believe that’s your voice. I feel like Celine Dion’s here and she’s hiding,” Demi Lovato added.
Simon Cowell, however, noted that he believed Carly to be an “alien” because such an awesome voice could simply not exist in the body of a 13-year-old.
