Carly Rae Jepsen Goes in for “This Kiss” in Official Video

Carly Rae Jepsen, she of the “Call Me Maybe” fame, has a new video out: it’s the official clip for her single “This Kiss.” You can see it in full above.

Ever since she shot to international fame, Carly has been working hard to prove to the world that she was no one hit wonder.

For “This Kiss,” she adopts a more mature look, even though the material she’s tackling is still young at heart: it’s the story of a girl with a major crush on a guy who barely knows she exists, and how they come to have their first kiss together.

Carly, for those who don’t know, is actually 26 years old but she pulls off such teen-like songs and looks to perfection.

“This Kiss music video is here! Oh Canada, This Kiss is for you!” the singer tweeted shortly after the release of the video.

Carly’s mentor, Justin Bieber, also went online to bring attention to the new clip, tweeting, “new video from @carlyraejepsen for #ThisKiss – song is a smash.”
