This should have been the last day of CP+ 2014 but, due to bad weather conditions, the hosts decided to reschedule the last exhibition day for tomorrow, February 16.

The Japanese branch of Carl Zeiss is also present at the international CP+ 2014 show where it showcases the latest Otus and Touit high-end optics. Zeiss shares the same booth as Voigtlander maker, Cosina in a joint exhibition.

Among the lenses on display at CP+, Zeiss announced the release of the Otus 1.4/55 (ZE for Canon and ZF.2 for Nikon) optic for the Japanese market with a release date set to May and a retail price of ¥425,000 / $4,170 / €3,000.

Moreover, the company also revealed that the Touit 2.8/50M lens for Sony E-mount and Fujifilm X-mount mirrorless camera will be available for purchase in Japan starting late March. Besides all these digital camera optics, at the Zeiss booth you can also take a look at the latest cinema lenses released by the renowned optics manufacturer.
