14 DAY TRIAL // The official careers blog of Pakistan Mobile Communications Limited, or Mobilink GSM, has been hacked and defaced by Hasnain Haxor, a member of the Pakistan Haxors Crew.
The hacker announced the attack on his Facebook page. He explained that he simply wanted to warn the company that its systems were not properly secured.
“Admin secure your website. Just a warning. I don't want to mess with your data, but listen, I have all your data, hahahaa,” Hasnain Haxor wrote on the defaced page.
In addition to this statement, the hacker also published a protest message against India.
The defacement page has been added here: careerblog.mobilinkgsm.com/uncategorized/ hacked-by-h4n4n-h4xor.
At the time of writing, the defacement page is not accessible via this link. However, I’ve found that it’s still hosted on Mobilink’s careers blog.
The website uses WordPress, so it’s possible that the hacker exploited a WordPress vulnerability to deface it.
