This may sound crazy coming from a model, a person who is contractually obliged not to be a prude, and who is paid to show off her body, but Cara Delevingne is actually one of those girls who don't like to take their clothes off for movie roles.

Cara, whom we've seen parade on the catwalk on numerous occasions, is currently in the process of making a transit towards an acting career, and, while most of you out there may think that she's accepting every role that lands in her lap, she's actually a bit more selective about that.

In an interview with the Mirror about her upcoming TV movie called “Timeless,” Cara reveals that she puts a lot of thought into her casting process. “I already know. If I look at a script and I have to be naked there’s just things that I look for that I automatically know if I want to do it or not.”

She explains, “I have morals that I want to keep. It’s a fine line. If you want to work with a good director and be in a good cast but you have to do certain things you don’t want to do, do you cross that line or not?”

While some of you may be rolling their eyes after reading these lines, Cara is actually getting to like acting, and she's thinking of making a career switch, despite the fact that she's currently one of the most-sought models in the industry and has already got a ton of contracts with major fashion labels in her resume.

Delevingne, who's always been a rebellious spirit, which is why she's fallen for Hollywood's resident bad girl Michelle Rodriguez, now claims that she feels more at home on the movie set than on the runway.

“I prefer acting to modelling. Modelling is where I started and I’ll never turn my back on it, I thank it for everything I’ve done now. Without that I wouldn’t be here now, but it’s not my love, acting is my love,” the model-turned-actress confessed.

This new love has already translated into several movie roles, the latest one being the part of a mermaid in the live action film “Peter Pan.” She'll have to put aside her rules for this one because mermaids have never been known to wear clothes, only the occasional clam bra.

Of course, some of this love for cinematography could be an influence from girlfriend Michelle Rodriguez, who has already expressed her interest in casting the model in several movies, as well as starring her in a reboot of the classic movie “Thelma & Louise.”
