A Pittsburgh man now faces public embarrassment, apart from medical issues, after driving his Saturn car into a public fountain.

As you can see, the driver has crashed the vehicle, which has flipped over before landing in the fountain upside down.

The motorist is in stable condition after landing in front of the Highland Park Reservoir, on an elevated platform in the fountain.

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette described that he hit into another vehicle a few blocks away, started driving on North Highland Avenue, over a green area, between two pillars, then smashed into a bench.

The bench gave up and the vehicle kept going, driving through the pool retaining wall and eventually flipping after hitting the fountain base.

A crowd of 30 gathered to watch the spectacle and two tow trucks were brought in to remove the vehicle.
