Owners of Windows Phone devices out there can now download and install a new mobile title coming from popular publisher Gameloft, in the form of Captain America: TWS.

The game was made available for download on Android devices several weeks ago, but the company has finally made it available for Windows Phone as well, allowing more users to take advantage of the various features that it has to offer.

Based on the recent Marvel movie “Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” the game provides users with the possibility to take the lead of a S.H.I.E.L.D. Strike Team as Captain America and to stop the attacks of several nefarious criminal organizations.

Moreover, players will have to use all of Captain America’s tactical skill, as he commands the Strike Team in combat on every front. Users will get the chance to transform their agents into a potent fighting force, while also being able to call in Black Widow and Falcon to help when the odds are against them.

“Expose the villains behind these brazen attacks, unravel their plans and discover how the Winter Soldier fits into their scheme,” Gameloft notes.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier had been made available for download for free on Windows Phone devices, though only as a demo version, which means that users will get to play only the first two levels for free.

However, they will also be offered the possibility to unlock the full version of the title after that. The game requires an Internet connection.

Captain America: TWS for Windows Phone promises intense combat action, as well as a variety of tactical options, and it allows users to battle their way through various enemy types using force or guile.

Moreover, the game also enables players to make clever use of their indestructible shield and skills as a Super-Soldier and an Avenger, and to face a series of iconic villains such as King Cobra, Taskmaster, Puff Adder, the Winter Soldier and more.

According to Gameloft, the new mobile game comes to devices as an absorbing original story co-signed with Marvel Comics writer Christos Gage, and it also features art and graphics inspired directly by the comics.

In addition to leading a Strike Team of S.H.I.E.L.D. agents, users will also have to improve their agents and weapons for optimal performance in the field, as well as to learn new fighting techniques to supercharge Captain America’s attacks.

There are also a series of Captain America suits that can be unlocked and upgraded, along with the option to research skills and items that help them advance faster.

You can download Captain America: TWS for Windows Phone from Softpedia today.
