Capcom vs. SNK 2: Millionaire Fighting 2001 is a video game that was developed and published by Capcom
Entertainment. The game was developed for the PlayStation 2 gaming consoles from Sony, the Xbox from Microsoft, the Dreamcast from SEGA and the Game Cube from Nintendo. The title is classed as a fighting game played from a third person perspective.
The game brings together characters from Capcom and from old SNK games. The main gameplay mechanic, other than the normal ones for fighting games, is the possibility to select a "groove" right before each of the battles. There are three grooves that are pre-defined by the game for each of the sides and, after you complete it, you get to define your own groove. Each of them will affect the way the characters perform in the actual battle sequence.
The game is pretty typical of Capcom fighting games. There are six attack buttons and even the SNK characters, which usually use only four attack buttons, have been modified to use this control scheme. The characters you get to play with are pretty much all taken from previous releases. Fighters like Garou, Mark of the Wolves and Last Blade make an appearance and even Todoh, who is the boss in the first Art of Fighting game is also included.
UNLOCKABLES
Hidden Bosses
Hidden Bosses can be used once they have been defeated. The conditions of the Bosses to appear are to fulfill two out of the following three conditions. If you play with a Capcom groove you will get God Rugal, and if you play with a SNK groove you will get Shin Gouki.
Achieve over 1500 GPS by the end of the game. Defeat the Middle Boss (Geese or Bison/Vega). Achieve at least one Finest KO.
To unlock Shin Akuma or Ultimate Rugal, defeat whoever shows up as the final Boss. Choosing the Groove system and whatever character goes with the Groove system is not needed. For example, defeating Ultimate Rugal with Shin Akuma equipped with the N-groove in the final stage will unlock him.
