According to Capcom, plans to release their online action role-playing game Monster Hunter Frontier G outside Japan are underway.

Monster Hunter Frontier G is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game set in the Monster Hunter universe, available for PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita and Wii U, exclusively in Japan.

The good news came via a statement made to Siliconera by a Capcom representative. Good news indeed, following in the vein of Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate's planned western release for early 2015, on the Nintendo 3DS.

"The reason why we have increased our support for so many hardware platforms is because we have our sights set on distributing services for this game in the future outside Japan," Capcom' Yoshinoro Ono reveals.

"We simply can't release a game as it is, but need to adapt all the necessary services to the unique characteristics of each region. In preparation for that, we've broadened our scope and started launching individual titles across multiple hardware platforms," he concludes.

Although no definitive announcements have been made, the future certainly holds hope.
