The big project that publisher Capcom has revealed for the PlayStation 4 is Deep Down and it seems that much of the core features of the game were inspired by the actual hardware of the next-gen console from Sony.

Katsuhiko Ichii, an executive corporate officer and director at the company, is quoted by DualShockers as saying that, “Different ideas for Deep Down bubbled up while we were studying the hardware of the PS4. In the future we’ll release a a variety of information about it, but it’ll be a very unique title.”

The game is created using the new Panta Rhei engine, designed with the next-gen console in mind.

The Capcom team says that the technology is meant to be adaptable to a number of game genres.

The company believes that strong competition from other companies for next-gen video games will drive Deep Down to be an even better experience.
