Video game publisher Capcom has announced pre-order incentives for those who are looking to get the upcoming Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor, a mech combat game that uses the Kinect motion tracking system.

The Iron Guardian Armory gives the player a new type of Armor, called Rock, which improves defensive abilities and Jaguar, for quicker movement.

It will be available from GameStop.

The Chrome Blitzer set will be offered by Best Buy and will allow players to use Impact, which increases turning speed, and Tiger, which increases offensive power.

Carbon Assassin is the final set, coming via pre-order from Amazon, and includes Savannah, increasing projectile velocity, and Storm, designed to increase a mech’s shooting radius.

Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor is a direct sequel to the 2004 launched Line of Contact and will launch in the United States on June 22.

The core gameplay mechanics will be similar to that of the first game in the series, with added mechs and more options when it comes to their design and deployment.
